Hi, I’m Sunny :)
As an immigrant raising my babies without extra help, I experienced severe postnatal depression due to lack of sleep. Determined to find a solution, I researched extensively and eventually succeeded in getting my eldest child to sleep for over 8 hours at 2 months old at a stretch. This success, achieved through numerous trials, studies, and unwavering passion, transformed our lives. Now, my boys sleep 12 hours at night and take 2-3 hour naps. Whenever I hear other parents facing the same struggles, I feel a strong desire to help, understanding firsthand the dangers of sleep deprivation and postnatal depression.
I am a passionate sleep consultant with qualifications as a sensitive sleep consultant, over 13 years of nursing experience, and a wealth of practical tips from my personal journey. My approach to sleep consultation is holistic, considering your family situation, parenting style, baby’s temperament, nutrition, and more. There are many different sleep training methods, and we will work together to find one that makes you feel comfortable, avoiding methods that leave your baby crying without comfort.
I aim to provide tailored solutions and programs based on evidence-based research. Just as every individual is unique, so too are our babies, each requiring a personalised approach.

"I am known as the mother of a 'sensitive baby' from the postnatal care center. Since the neonatal room at the hospital, they said my baby was accustomed to being held and would cry until held, so after leaving the postnatal care center, I continued to hold him and sleep together. It felt like I raised him in my arms all the time except for changing his diapers. At night, my husband and I took turns holding him and sleeping on the sofa. He would cry as soon as we laid him in the crib, and we couldn't even think of laying him down.
After a few weeks of this, sleep quality issues arose and the baby started having problems. I decided that I needed to start sleep training, but I felt completely lost on how to do it. I looked into getting outside help, but other companies were expensive and had long waiting lists. I think mental support is really important when starting sleep training. She encouraged me each time, sharing her own experiences, which gave me strength and courage. Now, how is our baby? He sleeps from 7 PM to 6 AM. There is still a night feeding, but it's manageable now. When the baby sleeps on his back, his posture is comfortable, and it also helps prevent SIDS. Most importantly, our entire family is sleeping comfortably now that the baby sleeps alone. I highly recommend sleep training! Especially for first-time moms like me who might not know their baby's needs."
